The youth is considered as the
greatest power of any country of the world, thus the improvement of the youth
is the utmost necessary thing that a
country must consider. But this doesn’t happen in the case of the Middle Eastern countries. Off late, the number of unemployment of these countries rose to such a
number which was quite an alarming thing for the governments of those
countries. The Middle Eastern countries have
more than 22% unemployment rate for young men and more than 39% so for their female
counterparts.
But now the scenario is changing drastically
due to the various policies on Youth
empowerment in the Middle East taken by the governments of the Middle
Eastern countries.
Apart from that due to the
unprecedented change of the mindset of the young people living in these
countries to get a better future for themselves and also make their society a
livable place has stimulated the growth in a positive
way as well. Where earlier the mass population of the rural areas
coupled with the illiteracy rates, underemployment was the main reasons which
are drawing back the country backward now with this activism of the youth the
scenario is changing fast and showing good results as well.
This is the reason where in the
earlier of this century these countries fail to produce even a single female
entrepreneur now the same countries is showing a stiff increase in the
percentage of Female entrepreneurship in
the Middle East. The measures which are worth mentioning and taken by the
governments to improve the situations are
- · Promote entrepreneurship
- Encouraging pro-entrepreneurship and pro-employment public policies
- Linking the employers and job seekers and restructuring the curricula to meet the industry demands.
